Rules

1. Weather: The decision to fish is soley the captain's choice. All anglers fish at their own discretion and risk. If the tournament committee dertmines it is unsafe to fish, all cash awards will still be presented by randomly selecting boat names at the awards banquet. (must be present to win) No entry refunds or rain checks
2. All fish must be caught on rod & reel (no electric reels). Kites, wire lines, downriggers, & planers are allowed. Live bait, dead bait, an artificial baits are permitted. No restrictions on line test.
3. The eastern fishing boundary is 25 nautical miles. Fishing in the Bahamas is Prohibited.
4. All state and federal recreational fishing rules regarding weight, size, and bag limitts must be observed. State fishing license is required by law. Only legal sized fish will be weighed. No billfish will be weighed.
5. No limits to number of lines a boat may fish.
6. Prizes are awarded to heaviest fish in each catagory, not accumulated weight.
7. Each boat is allowed to weigh one (1) fish per catergory.
8. Award winners over $600.00 must provide their social security number and will be subject to a polygraph test.
9. All cash and prizes will be awarded to the person or entity that paid the entry fee from the winning boat, unless that said person, signs a release designating another individual o entity to receive the cash or prize.
10. Tournament scales open at 1:00pm. No mutilated fish will be weighed. Anglers entering fish must return to the tournament scales from the boat they fished from by 4:30pm and must be weighed in the pesence of the weigh materr an angler, or capttain and recorded on an official weigh-in form. No fish or anglers can be transferred between boats. It is important to keep your fish adequately iced. All entered fish must be able to pass a Torrey Meter and Organoleptic test.
11. In the event of a tie the first fish weighed will win the award and the other ish will become eligible for the next lowest category if applicable.
