History
The Grand Slam / Castaways KDW Tournament has become a staple in the South Florida Fishing Community. Since 1997 the KDW has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in tournament winnings all while raising over $300,000 for local charities. In 2006, Castaways Marina teamed with Grand Slam to take this event to the next level from 2006 to 2007, the winnings and prizes grew 10 fold.
